Discover the transformation of ACC at Highland ATX, an academic campus that will become the center of a new urban redevelopment district, facilitated by BGK Architects.
Highland Mall, the first indoor shopping mall in Austin, Texas, opened in 1971 and prospered for decades before falling into decline. With a vision for a new urban model, Austin Community College purchased the mall and began a multi-phased, public-private partnership with RedLeaf Properties to create an academic campus at the center of a new urban redevelopment district.
Experience firsthand the dramatic transformation of a dark windowless department store into a state-of-the-art learning center and check out renderings and 3D photospheres of future projects planned for Highland ATX.
