Start exploring and joining the rich design community of Austin. Learn about local design/designer-friendly groups to get involved in, online design+creative communities, and how to create space for design in seemingly unexpected places.
This event is all about getting people started in exploring and joining the rich design community of Austin. We’ll cover local design/designer-friendly groups to get involved in, online design+creative communities, and how people can start to create space for design in seemingly unexpected places.
Design is Everywhere and we want participants to leave with a clear understanding on how they can join and grow the community with confidence.
Participants should bring their laptops or phones so they can join Meetup, get acquainted with Slack, and start connecting with each other and different groups online! Participants should leave the workshop with new connections, upcoming events they can get join, and some next steps for them if they’re interested in starting a new group.
