Facilitator: Kevin Mako, President, MAKO Design + Invent
Kevin Mako founded MAKO Design + Invent in 1999 then incorporated in 2006 while in his 3rd year of University. He started it with the dream of being the first company to provide a complete end-to-end solution for hardware startups to go from Idea to Store Shelves. MAKO Design + Invent was built 100% organically, from scratch, with no investors and no debt. Outside of the company, Kevin focuses on growing the product development industry as a whole, doing guest speaking around North America, and sits on a number of advisory boards for incubators, educational institutions, and think tanks.
