Our Call for Event Proposals for Austin Design Week 2021 is officially open! We can’t wait to see the ideas and events the community brings forward for the sixth annual Austin Design Week happening November 8-12th.
Call for Proposals is Open for ADW21!
Each year, our mission is to build an inclusive community that empowers and inspires Austin’s creative problem solvers — and to do that, we need you!
From workshops to panels to studio tours, all of our events are hosted by members of the community and curated by our advisory board. No matter what your background, design discipline, or experience is, we encourage all members of the community to bring forward their ideas, showcase their work, and share their expertise as long as it aligns with the ADW21 theme.
This year’s theme is all about co-creating a collective future — working together as creative problem-solvers to identify upcoming challenges and work through them. We call it “Futuring” and we’re inviting everyone to take part — not just the futurists and visionaries among us. You can learn more about this year’s theme in our theme announcement.
With safety as a priority, and understanding that we still may not be back to 100% normal from the pandemic, we plan to have both in-person and virtual events this year. So consider how your proposal could be formatted for either or both.
